Palm Scriptorian incorporates two new Quote It assist modes for convenience and learning style variation. You have the option to Speed mode, First Letter mode, or neither from the Options Dialog. Quote It mode selections made in the Options Dialog apply to all study lists in Palm Scriptorian, not just the currently selected one.

Speed Mode

Quote It Speed mode requires you to enter only the first letter of each word to be filled in. This is the default mode for Palm Scriptorian and makes Quote It much easier to use on your handheld device. Since entering characters on a Palm device is not as easy as doing so on your desktop computer, Speed mode is a practical compromise between entering each letter of a word and using Word or Letter help to avoid entering anything.

First Letter Mode

First Letter mode will display the first letter of each word to be filled in. This is a nice prompt especially when learning a new verse. You can either enter the rest of the letters for the word or just identify the word mentally and tap for word help to move to the next word.

You can also run Quote It without Speed or First Letter mode enabled. You may want to use Quote It without these assist modes if you are using a keyboard with your device (or if you want to practice your Graffiti skills!)
