Palm Scriptorian 30 Day Evaluation Install

Installation instructions
Note: Your 30 day period begins from first use -
not from the time of download or installation.
1. Open the Palm Install Tool. Normally this can be done by opening the Start menu, then selecting "Programs", "Palm Desktop" then "Install Tool".
2. If there is more than one palm user on your computer, make sure to select the correct user.
3. Click on the Add button to access the file Open dialog.
4. In the Open dialog, change the directory/folder indicated near the top of the dialog to the directory where you downloaded the palm files to.
5. Once you have selected the correct directory, the files that you downloaded will appear in the list. You can select multiple files by holding the Ctrl key down while clicking on each file to be installed. After all the files are selected, click on the Open button to close the dialog.
6. Click on the Done button. A message will inform you that the application will be installed during the next time you hot sync.
7. With your Palm device in its cradle, press the hot sync button to transfer the Scriptorian application and study list files to your Palm device. Be aware that it may take longer than normal to hot sync as the program files are transferred.
8. Once the hot sync is complete, locate the Scriptorian icon on your Palm device. Just tap on the icon to start up Scriptorian. If you need instructions for how to use Palm Scriptorian, please refer to the online guide.
Installation from Windows Scriptorian
If you have installed Windows Scriptorian 3.0 or greater, the Palm Scriptorian files should have already been setup for installation to your Palm device. The Windows Scriptorian installation program detects whether or not the Palm desktop is installed on your computer. If it finds it, it will then take the necessary steps to prepare the files for installation. The only steps left to do then would be to hot sync the program to your Palm device as described in steps 7 and 8 above.
Whether or not the Windows Scriptorian 3.0 installation program detects the palm desktop on your computer, the Palm Scriptorian files will be copied to your computer. You can find them in the Palm Files directory located under your Scriptorian directory (usually "c:\softlore\scriptorian"). In this way, if the installation process doesn't automatically install the files for you, you can manually install them from this directory using the steps described above.
